You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. Starting in Brighouse this 25 mile circular loop will really stretch your legs but the rewarding views will be worth it.  This challenging ride through the stunning scenery of one of the highest parishes in England - Queensbury. The route skirts the famous Black Dyke Mill and heads on to 'Mountain' and the picturesque 360 degree views over Ogden and Mixenden reservoirs. Returning through the pretty village of Warley and skirting the canal back to Brighouse.  This ride really isn’t one to be missed if you love being on your bike, climbing a few hills and enjoy the views at the top! This ride uses part of National Cycle Network (NCN) route 69. To find out more about the NCN and other great places to cycle near you everyday, go to the Sustrans website (http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/national-cycle-network).
