Brian's cycle ride to Parkhead Station cafe, Stanhope Moors

We will leave Pedalling Squares and cycle up the Derwent Walk to Blackhill Consett where we will join the Waskerley Way to Parkhead Station. After stopping for a snack and a drink we will return to Pedalling Squares the way we came. this is a challenging ride because of the rapidly changing weather conditions on the moors. Please bear this in mind and bring extra clothing in case you need it. You also need to make sure your bike is in good working order and you are carrying spare inner tubes in case of punctures. This ride will be restricted to 25 because of the challenges it poses so please book quickly if interested. You Must be able to cycle at a steady pace of between 10-12 mph
