Brian's cycle ride to Capheaton, Northumberland

We will leave Pedalling Squares at 9.30 sharp cycling along the banks of the Tyne and crossing over Newburn Bridge. The climb up through Throckley Fells is next before turning left cycle to Capheaton via Medburn and Black Heddon. The stop is at Capheaton Village hall for a snack before returning to Pedalling Squares the way we came. This ride is about 43 miles on fairly quiet roads. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and your are carrying 2 spare inner tubes in case of punctures.
