Pedalling Squares Café Quality Row Swalwell

The route:- Leave Pedalling Squares and cycle over Scotswood Bridge, on the path, and then to Newburn on the track through Lemington. We climb up through Newburn and to the top of Throckley Fells and turn left. Cycle to Bolam Lake via Medburn and Black Heddon. Stop at the Stables farm café for a snack etc. Return to Pedalling Squares the same way until we get to Newburn when we go over Newburn Bridge and back along the south side of the Tyne. This is a lovely cycle ride into the Northumberland countryside and is a distance of 42 miles round trip. This cycle ride is suitable for any type of cycle but is for adults only. This is a no drop ride with no number restriction. We do aim to cycle at 10-12 miles per hour. Your cycle needs to be in good condition and you should carry two spare inner tubes with you as we do get punctures and it is quicker and easier for the group if you just replace your inner tube.
