Approx. 38 mile route, mainly flat with a couple of, not difficult, climbs near Corbridge and Newton. There is a mixture of off road cycling and quiet roads.
Leave pedalling Squares and cycle on the south side of the river to Wylam. Cross the bridge at Wyalm, past Bywell going towards Corbridge, double back past Brockbushes farm to Newton. Stop at the Duke of Wellington pub, Newton for coffeee, tea and a snack etc.
Return to Pedalling Squares via Stamfordham, Throckley and Newburn and back along the south side of the river Tyne.
This is a scenic cycle ride and suitable for any type of bike. Everyone welcome. This is a no drop ride.
