Breezing to Th'Owd Barn

We leave our start point and head to new longton, we then cycle along the cyclepaths to Tp walmer bridge and pick up quiet country lanes through Much Hoole,bretherton and croston We then wind our way through mawdesley and head to Grimshaw Green where we turn and head to our coffee stop .
After our break we wind our way along quiet lanes in mawdesley and pick up our outward route at Syd brook lane . we then retrace our route back to the longton bypass ehere we continue on cyclepaths to Hutton and Howicks cross. it is then just ashort cycle to our starting point

This is a steady ride aimed at women who are confident on a bike and wish to extend the length of their rides.

The route consists of traffic free cycle paths, roads and quiet country lanes. All bikes are suitable for this terrain but must be in a road worthy condition

we will be stopping for coffee at Th'owd barn . Additionally we will make stops along the way to enjoy the views and catch our breath

Please bring some water, a snack and some money if you wish to purchase food or drink at the coffee stop. Be prepared for warm/ wet weather conditions. Riders are advised to wear a helmet and it is compulsory for those under 18 to wear a helmet. Please carry a spare inner tube and tools necessary to carry out a puncture repair Prior to the start of the ride there will be a short bike check and safety brief but please make sure that your bike is in working order before joining the ride.

We are a small friendly group of women who enjoy a social ride around the scenic lanes in the area and a friendly chat over coffee. We love to welcome new members and we never leave anyone behind.
