Breezing to Spokes

28 miles at an average speed of around 11-12 mph. Starting from The Marshalswick Community Centre at The Quadrant, we'll head through Kimpton, & Whitwell before having a cafe stop at Spokes (after about 17 miles). We'll then return to St Albans via Codicote & Ayot St Peter.

Most of this ride is on quiet roads and lanes.

Meet at 9.30am outside the Marshalswick Community Centre at The Quadrant. There is a small public car park between the Community Centre and M&S with free parking, and plenty of residential street parking nearby. However, please don't park in the main Quadrant car park or the streets immediately outside the shops as parking there is restricted to 3 hours. There are also public toilets next to the Community Centre. Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Please bring water & snacks to drink & munch on route, equipment to deal with any punctures, money & lock for the cafe stop. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency back up or taxi number to call in case of any mechanical issues that we can't fix.
