Breezing to Emily's, approx 12mph

Approx 31 miles at an average speed of about 12 mph. We'll head out through Symondshyde Woods & Ayot Green before a cafe stop at Emily's in Whitwell (after about 18 miles). We'll then return to St Albans via Bendish & Kimpton.

Meet at 9.30am in the garden outside the Marshalswick Community Centre at The Quadrant. There is a small public car park between the Community Centre and M&S with free parking and plenty of residential street parking nearby. However, please don't park in the main Quadrant car park or the streets immediately outside the shops as parking there is restricted to 3 hours. There are public toilets next to the Community Centre.

The ride is all on road & is mostly on quiet lanes.

Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Please bring something to drink, money & a bike lock for the cafe stop & equipment to deal with any punctures. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency back up or taxi number to call in case of mechanical issues that we can't fix.
