Breezing T E Lawrence loop

We will ride out on a mixture of cycle lanes and quiet roads to cycle out into the Dorset countryside on country lanes/roads until we reach Moreton where T E Lawrence is buried. We’ll stop for a quick visit to Moreton Church where Lawrence’s funeral was conducted before cycling on to Wool and Bovington, arriving at Clouds Hill where Lawrence spent some of his later years, trying to escape his renown as Lawrence of Arabia. From there, it’s more scenic country lanes heading back via Tincelton to retrace our route back to Dorchester.
The ride is marked as challenging because of the distance, but it is a largely flat route (see elevation below.) There are options for cafe stops at 9 and 19 miles - or both! -and no-one will be left behind.
Please wear a helmet and dress appropriately for the weather on the day, bring a drink for the ride and card/cash for the cafe stop.
Please do carry a spare inner tube for your bike (any bike shop can help you with this) and check your bike before leaving home.
