SR7 7EU

Starting from Nose’s point car park we will follow cycle paths to the Train Station, before cycling through the housing estate and the grounds of Seaham Hall to join the National Cycle Network No. 1 - which we will follow to Murton before finding the far end of Dalton Industrial Estate and exploring the great, unused and very quiet roads here. From here we will descend back to Seaham, taking in the great sea views and enjoying the Breeze, returning to Seaham for a well earned, coffee, ice cream, or anything else that the great take away shops can offer.

A lovely short tour of cyclepaths around Seaham, mainly off road and quiet housing estate roads.

Mainly traffic free, using cyclepath and National Cycle Network Route 1

As this is a short route we will be stopping for photos only, so do please bring along water and snacks.

We always recommend helmets, and it is required for any Under 16s. As we are socially distanced, please also bring along a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. If assistance is required, Leaders will wear a face covering and gloves and will minimise contact as far as possible. Depending on the weather it is usually also advisable to carry a light waterproof jacket, telephone and money. Leaders will carry a first aid kit, sanitiser and sweets :)

We especially welcome newbies!
