Starting from Timberlake Car Park in North Watford (just off Radlett Road), we’ll head along the Abbey Way Cycle Route 6/61 and through the Meriden to School Lane, then through the trails around Munden Estate before looping back to the start.

A mixture of on-road and offroad, using tarmac cycleways and shared paths. It is suitable for all bikes although road bikes with slick tyres are not advised due to some uneven and slippery surfaces we will go through. Hybrid, MTB and gravel bikes are all suitable.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet as the route goes through some bumpy terrain. We won't be stopping at a cafe anywhere on the route so bring a drink or snack if you need one. Please ensure you have lights on your bike as we will be going through some dark sections such as woodlands and under road bridges!

It will be a little chillier than previous Early Birds rides so wrap up warm - autumn is coming!
