Starting point
Car park on Sibson road, Birstall,(Free Parking). Its just off the roundabout opposite the garden centre

Enjoy riding your bike but not feeling confident yet?
Then this is the ride for you.
Its a steady, traffic free ride around Watermead park. No hills, its all flat.
Starting at the car park in Birstall, we will head along the river Soar towards Thurmaston before cycling around King Lear and John Merricks lake. The route will continue along the river to the garden centre at Cossington, where we can stop for a cup of tea and a slice of cake
Helmets are not compulsory but are advisable. Please bring spare tube and a drink/snacks if required.
