Breeze Tour of Britain ride - Tremeirchion Trailblazer

Breeze are celebrating the Tour of Britain, and running lots of rides while the Tour is taking place! This ride is a challenging 28 mile circular ride from Lower Gronant to Tremeirchion and back. It's a particularly hilly route, and we'll hit those hills almost immediately after setting off as we head up through Gronant, Llanasa and Trelawynd. We'll be riding along mainly very quiet country lanes, with a couple of busier junctions to cross with care. We will be rewarded for our hard work riding up the hills by enjoying the lovely descent into Tremeirchion and beyond, where we'll allow plenty of space for one another! After the Tremeirchion descent we'll cycle along quiet lanes past Rhuddlan Castle and on to the River Clwyd path in to Rhyl, where we'll stop at the Harbour Hub for drinks and snacks (the cafe will be closed so please bring your own!). We'll then head back to Gronant along the coastal path.
Please note that the total elevation of this ride is around 700m, so it's quite a hard ride on the legs!
We never leave anyone behind and welcome all on our rides.
Helmets are mandatory and please remember to bring along a spare inner tube and tools for repairing a puncture. We now have darker evenings so lights are a must. It's also worth bringing along waterproofs in case of showers!
