Breeze to Wilf's cafe

A socially paced ride to celebrate International Women's Day, this is a scenic circular loop from Brockham to Horley. Highlights include cycling past Duxhurst Farm House, formally Duxhurst Industrial Farm Colony for treatment of women with alcoholism and a visit to Wilf's at Simon's Free Range Eggs & Farm Shop.

We will be cycling on quiet country lanes with little traffic and some small hills which will be taken at a leisurely pace. Some of the smaller lanes can be a bit mucky at this time of year.

Plenty of opportunities to take photos and mid-ride refreshments at Wilf's.

Please ensure your cycle is roadworthy with inflated tyres, oiled chain and working brakes. Please bring a lock for the refreshment stop. Please bring a spare inner tuber in case of puncture and tools to change it (but don’t let this put you off as I will carry tools and a pump). Please carry water and money for the cafe. Please wear a helmet that fits correctly. Please dress warmly as we will be cycling and outside for about three hours.
