Breeze from Finch to West Green House

Leaving the FBC, we will head out towards Arborfield, passing near Swallowfield and the Bramshill Plantation before taking the country lanes towards West Green House where we can take in their Xmas Fair and enjoy some refreshment. The return route will climb back up towards the Plantation but we will remain on road, crossing the ford at Eversley via the footbridge and then ride back to the FBC. This route will take in some busier roads as well as country lanes, with a few hills along the way to ensure a good work out! Aiming for an average pace of around 10 mph, the ride is marked as challenging because of both the distance, the busier roads and the cheeky inclines on the way. Wearing layers and waterproof would be good given the recent weather and a helmet. Please bring with you a bike lock, and a spare inner tube, some money for the cafe stop and a drink. Bike lights may be an idea if it's a gloomy day. Finally, do please take the time to check your bike before leaving, in particular sufficient air in your tyres, both brakes working and the chain well lubed. Hope to see you :)
