This is a gentle ride along the Centurion Way. We will start from the bottom of the cycle way at Westgate and then head all the way up on the newly extended track to West Dean where we will stop for coffee before heading back. It will be a gentle ride, there is some slight ‘up’ but no hills as you would expect cycling along the train track that use to run from Chichester to Midhurst Most of the ride is on a track so is suitable for hybrids or mountain bikes but we will go on the road for a short distance as we leave the track and head to West Dean Gardens for coffee. This ride is suitable for beginners or those who just fancy a nice social ride. Please give your bike a check over before you leave home, are the tyres pumped up? Are the gears and brakes working properly? Always carry a spare inner tube, puncture repair kit and a pump, just in case. Wearing a helmet is advisable and we will not be able to leave the bikes where we can see them so also please bring a padlock. If you have any questions then please text Karen on 07886796857
