CH5 4DP

We will leave Dock Road and head over Hawarden Bridge onto the Chester Greenway and ride to the end of the Greenway at Mickle Trafford.
We will then ride on the road through Guilden Sutton to the busy A51 Tarvin road.
We will cross this road on foot WITH CARE!!! to the other side of the road.
Then we will follow quiet roads by-passing Christleton and Brown Heath to Waverton.
At Waverton we will turn left passing the Crocky Trail and shortly to Walk Mill.
Here we will have our café stop.

After we have had our café stop we will follow the same route back to Dock Road.
This is an out and back ride following the same route.

Lovely ride to a working flour mill who bake their own bread and cakes with the flour and sell in their on-site café!

Over half the ride is on the Connahs Quay Chester Greenway! We will be crossing the busy A51 which we will walk across and care will be taken!! Other roads will be relatively quiet.

We are stopping at Walk Mill near Waverton which is a popular café stop for cyclists from all directions. We can stop anytime on the ride for a drink/snack or to take photos.

A bike in good working order with the tyres pumped up. A helmet is compulsory for this ride. Puncture repair kit or better still spare inner tubes which are easier to change and a pump. Suitable clothing nothing baggy that could get caught in the chain/gears. A bike lock. A drink / snacks for the ride. Money/card for café. If using an E-bike make sure it is fully charged. Medication if needed.

We never leave anyone behind
