Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A ride along the canal path down the Lea Valley to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park returning via the lovely path across the marshes and through Walthamstow Wetlands. This ride is similar to last year's Olympic Park Excursion.

There are no significant hills on this ride but some of the surfaces are gravelly and uneven so it's more suitable for bikes with wider tyres. A hybrid will be fine if you ride carefully over the rougher sections. Most of the route is along cycle paths. The roads on the route are generally quiet, but we will cross some busy ones.
