Breeze to the Old Chapel

We will leave Dock Road and head over Hawarden Bridge to the Greenway and head for Dragon Bridge.
We will go over the bridge and turn left at the bottom and ride towards the River Dee path crossing two main roads on the way.
We will ride along the River Dee to Saltney footbridge and walk over the bridge.
In 200yds we will arrive at The Chapel Café.
After our stop we will retrace our route along the river but carry on along the river to Hawarden Bridge and back to Dock Road.

A lovely half circuit ride on quiet cycleways to the Old Chapel Tearooms at Saltney.

All of the route is on quiet cycle paths except after we walk over Saltney footbridge on a path along a busy road for 200yds.

We will be stopping at The Old Chapel Tearooms at Saltney.

A bike in good working order with the tyres pumped up. A helmet is compulsory for this ride. Puncture repair kit or better still spare inner tubes which are easier to change. And a pump. Suitable clothing nothing baggy that could get caught in the chain/ gears. A bike lock. A drink/snacks for the ride. Money/card for café stop. If using an E-bike make sure it has enough charge for the ride. Medication if needed.
