Starting point

London
EN3 4DY

This route takes us from the Recreation Ground in Ponders End to the Lea canal. We'll take the cycle tracks along Mollison Avenue past the industrial estates to Smeaton Bridge, where we join the canal and go North to the Narrowboat Cafe. After a drink and a chat we'll follow the canal back South until Wharf Road, which we follow to Ponders End station and then via South Street back to the Recreation Ground. This is an easy flat ride and the canal towpath is wide. Bring water, a bike lock if you have one and money for the cafe. Before you come please pump up your tyres and make sure the brakes work and the wheels turn freely. Breeze rides are fun, friendly and free; no one is ever left behind.
