Hello Ladies!

A slight change of plan on the route due to road and towpath closures, apologies!

The route we will be be using will be to The Lock keeper on the Chester Canal/Shropshire Union Canal.

We will meet at The Deeside Leisure Centre at 9:30am and do some bike safety checks before heading off towards the Millennium Greenway Path.

We will continue along the cycle path until we reach the canal which runs through Chester, we will travel along the towpath and see the lovely narrow boats.

We will stop for some refreshments and comfort break at the Lock Keeper in Chester and then head back towards the Deeside Leisure Centre along the Cycle Path which runs parallel with the River Dee.

We will aim to return to the Deeside Leisure Centre no later than 2pm. The route will be mainly on cycle path, towpaths and some quiet roads.

It is recommended that you wear and bring appropriate clothing for the weather (waterproofs if chance of rain, suncream if sunny), spare inner tube(s), cash or card if you would like refreshments, any medication required, a drink and emergency snack.

Helmet is compulsory.
