Breeze to the Aviator

From Betty Bees, we will travel on cycle path through Bowburn and Coxhoe to join the Sedgefield road to Garmondsway Airfield for lunch at the Aviator. From here we will travel further south, returning via Fishburn and Trimdon before ascending Quarrington Hill and descending into Bowburn on quiet roads and returning to Betty Bee's with the option of further refreshment.

Mainly quiet road with some sections of cyclepath

We will cycle from Betty Bee's Shincliffe to the Aviator for lunch and a cuppa. Please bring money or your own refreshments if you prefer.

Helmets are always advisable. We also recommend you bring along clothing suitable for the weather forecast and a bottle of water. Social distancing will be in place so please also ensure you bring along a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump that fits your tube. Please also ensure your bike is in good working order to avoid any delays at the start
