Breeze to Talybont on usk reservoir

We will meet outside the theatre in Brecon by the canal basin. There is a pay and display car park there. After a bike check we will cycle along the canal path until the Lock at Brynich where we will turn right on the road towards Talybont on usk

A steady cycle to Talybont on Usk reservoir then back to the cafe by the canal for coffee and cake. If you havnt been out on your bike this year this is a great ride to start with. Its relatively flat except for the short climb to the reservoir. We never leave anyone behind and have a good stop at the reservoir to take in the view.

We will cycle on a mixture of canal path, quiet lanes following the Taff Trail.

We will stop along the way if we need to regroup and catch our breath. So if you havnt cycled for a while do not be put off. Come out and enjoy a social cycle at a steady pace.After our stop at the reservoir we cycle back down in to Talybont and have coffee and cake at the cafe.

Helmets are essential, Please make sure your tyres are pumped up before starting the ride. Bring a spare inner tube and or a puncture repair kit. Money or card for refrershments and a drink on your bike. Dress appropriately for the weather.
