Nearest toilet facilities are at Pease Pottage Services ( or possibly in the pub) but recommend not leaving a car at the services as charges apply after 2 hours. If the car boot sale is on there maybe heavier traffic near the start. RH11 9AJ

This is a lovely route to Partridge Green, via Mannings Heath, Nuthurst and Maplehurst. It does comprise of a series of lumps, mostly not big or steep, just plenty of them to counterbalance the coffee and cake at Stan's. Generally on quiet country roads, but includes a short stretch of the A281 and has to cross the A272. Probably not a ride suited to beginners or those adverse to uphill roads :) but for every up, there is of course the down. Return via same route.
