Breeze to Shenley

After we leave Barnet we will head down Galley Lane to the horse bridge and once we are over this we are rewarded with country lanes. We will head to Shenley taking in a loop to Ridge and then complete the circuit before crossing back over the bridge to Galley Lane once more and return to Barnet.

This route is suitable for riders who are comfortable on roads and are seeking to spread their wings a little further, or maybe you just fancy the company of like minded cyclists.

The route is entirely on road and once we escape Barnet we will cycle on quiet country lanes sharing the highway with other cyclists, cars and maybe even horse riders.

There are two stop options on this ride and we will decide on the day which one to take

Helmets are recommended for this route but not compulsory. Dress comfortably for the weather - who know at this time of the year if it is sun screen or rain gear - so please check the weather forecast the night before. Bring water, snacks and money (card) for the stop. Please also bring hand sanitiser and a face mask for the stop. You won't need to wear it while riding as we will maintain social distance while cycling but the cafes may require face coverings. Check your bike the night before for tyres, gears, brakes etc as we are not able to fix problems on the day. Enlist a friend or your local bike shop.
