Breeze to Sarratt - last evening ride this year!

Starting from - Please note a different start point! We are going to start outside the Coach & Horses pub on Rickmansworth High Street. This is so that we can avoid the station roundabout which will be much safer. There is a car park directly opposite or you can park in the car park next door to M&S and cycle down. It's also just a short cycle from Rickmansworth Station if you are coming on the tube. WD3 1ER

A beautiful cycle ride to Sarratt. Leaving Rickmansworth on the A412 we shortly turn left onto Copthorne Road avoiding the worst bit of Scots Hill! We'll cycle along Sarratt Road and over the M25 into the centre of Sarratt where we will stop for a drink at The Cricketers pub. Leaving the Cricketers we will turn right down Red Lion lane and carry along through Tom's Hil to Chandler's Cross where we will rejoin Sarratt Lane for our return into Rickmansworth. DON'T FORGET! The nights are getting darker so PLEASE bring lights. Also we shall be leaving promptly at 6:30pm on this ride as it will be getting darker early so ask your boss if you can leave a bit earlier to make it on time as it is out last ride of the season! It's a much easier ride if your tyres are pumped up to the right pressure. Here's a guide but look on your tyre wall to check the right pressure for your bike: Road bikes: 100 - 110 psi Hybrid bikes: 60 - 70 psi Also please ensure you have a spare innertube in the unfortunate event of a puncture!
