Meet at the Pavillion situated in by the river Ribble in Avenham park

This is a pleasant ride along part of Preston's Guild Wheel and then onto the quiet gently rolling lanes around Catforth Head out on the guild wheel towards Preston docks and stay on this route until Miller green. Go forward towards Hoyles lane turn right and then left into sandyford lane. Stay on this road crossing the motorway then go straight forward at t junction into woodplumpton. Go through woodplumpton .Cross canal bridge then turn left at sign to Catforth onto school lane. At end of school lane turn left then turn right into Benson lane just past the small nursery. Stay on this lane passing St Roberts Church. As it takes a sharp turn to the left it becomes roots lane, follow this over the canal and Roots café will appear on the right. Coffee stop. Leave Roots and turn right onto Roots lane. Go right at the t junction joining Blackleach Lane. Go straight on at the give way signs passing a small garage then turn right at the T junction. Take next left onto Bartle lane follow this to its end. Turn right onto Sandyford lane cross the motorway pass the school and then turn right at the t junction onto Hoyles Lane. Turn left at end of Miller Green, heading back towards the Guild wheel. Rejoin it and return to the pavilion by retracing the outward route.
