BL6 6JA

An easy mainly flat ride. A lot of it traffic free. We follow the Middlebrook trail until we reach Bolton town centre where we are on road a short distance until we reach Queens Park. The park is a real gem in Bolton. It has recently been taken over by the Wildlife Trust. We will return a slightly different way then again get back on the Middlebrook trail back to our start point.

We do go along a few gravel paths so not suitable for road bikes. Gravel bikes will be OK.

Average speed 7 - 8 mph

A classic route lead by many Breeze leaders over the years. A nice flat pedal turner. For those that don't want a huge distance and those that just want a sociable short pedal.

A large part of this is along the Middlebrook trail. There will be a couple of short sections of quite busy roads as we approach and leave the park.

We will be stopping for a brew and a chat at the newly reopened Queens Cafe in the park.

As usual no helmet, no ride. Bring cash/card for the cafe. Any spares needed for your bike, make sure you have an inner tube that fits your bike, they are all different. Please make sure your bike is in good working order as we are not mechanics !

We especially welcome newbies!
