This is a great off road route that explores the transpennine trail, we cross over the Jubilee Bridge at Widnes and travel back along the Bridgewater Canal. Its a very easy mainly flat route with only a couple of sections on roads.

The route is mainly gravel pathways, however the canal towpath can be muddy in places.

There are lots of opportunities to take pictures of the Mersey Eastury along the route and also experience the Jubilee Bridge. We will stop at Norton Priory for refreshments and a catch up.

Although this route is mainly off road, helmets are advisable as there are some low branches and bridges to navigate. Please bring any monies that you will need to purchase refreshments at the cafe. Please also bring a spare inner tube and any specialist tools that you may need for your bike. Please do not be put off by punctures as we are all able to help out. Please make sure you bring suitable waterproofs and a drink for the journey.

We never leave anyone behind
