We will be riding to Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint then back again. This is a lovely loop where you will have the opportunity to return either up over Devil's Dyke (if you have the legs for this!) OR take the A23 cycle path back to Brighton. This will be explained to you during our introductions.

Hello - following on from our post on our Breeze Network Brighton and Hove page, this ride is intended for those who are more experienced riders and feel comfortable and confident to ride in a group and on the road. It is not intended for first timers. (Please check for other rides which cater for shorter rides) We will be following a set Mitre ride called Mitre Route 2. Here is the link for the route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/269543961?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2RdoNSQxRjWknOLo7s5d54E2V75KUe3wFRBn0HQ-xHYKxy63r4cuyhVBQ_aem_AbK5-XN0KYFMb1FrHWJ4M5dDqSEKJGo2ORPhxVJmFYm0pwtdr3zntRyXrs18j5yyASo-XV7QUb0O3ls1CWYeyyG9 (I'm not sure if this will work so...) You can also find the route link on our Breeze Network Brighton and Hove page. We will meet at St Anne's Well Gardens for around 9am for a 9.30am start. We will meet at the cafe by the tennis courts. The cafe will be open so if you get there for 9am you can have a lovely coffee. We will get the post ride introductions and bike checks done then set off. The route is around 47km which is roughly 30 miles. Suzanne - who is the Womens' Rider Development ride leader and myself will ensure you all feel very welcome.

We will be riding mainly quiet 'B' roads through out the ride.

We will have a cafe stop at some point for refreshments.

Helmets are mandatory. Please ensure your bikes are road worthy before leaving your house. Have a spare inner tube and relevant tools. Dress accordingly. The weather forecast is OK at the time of writing this, but I will let you know if this deteriorates and effects the ride at all. Also bring some snacks and drink as we can make stops along the way for a quick drink and quick bite.
