Starting point

Cheshire
CH66 6AD

We head off from Hooton station towards Capenhurst, then pick up the bike path for a while before taking the road again towards Stoak then through Mickle Trafford to Meadow Lea cafe.

After lunch we will join the Chester Greenway, then through Saughall Village, Capenhurst and back to Hooton. The return route will be about 16 miles.

This route should be suitable for all types of bikes, however short sections of the route can get muddy after rain

The vast majority of this route is on minor roads so you do need to be confident on these, some of which can get rather busy at times. There are some small hills along the way but nothing major to worry about.

Please make sure you bring a spare inner tube, water, suncream and a jacket
