Breeze to Little Venice

Come and join this fun ride along the Grand Union Canal towpath right into London - Little Venice. See the landscape change from rural Rickmansworth, Harefield and Denham to the more urban landscapes of Uxbridge, West Drayton and Alperton. We will stop for coffee along the way and once we get there we can either go to a pub or a coffee shop for some refreshment before returning via the tube or Chiltern Rail to Rickmansworth. Whilst this is a flat ride it can be a tiring ride. There are often obstacles along the way and you may have to lift your bike over obstructions - fallen branches etc. Absolutely no road bikes on this route. Please come with a hybrid or mountain bike and ensure you check your bike out before you come and pump those tyres! Ensure you carry spare innertubes - at least one but preferably two. If you come without and have a puncture you may have to leave the ride if you are unable to fix it. The likelihood of punctures is much higher than normal on this ride due to the terrain. It's much easier to replace an innertube than fix a puncture. We will finish by the giraffe house on the edge of Regent's Park.
