The route begins and ends at Taste Perthshire in Bankfoot. There is plenty parking here and we will have coffee, cake or lunch at the end of the ride - most likely at Stewart Tower which is one mile from the car park. The road winds gradually upwards towards Little Glenshee. Here we cross a shallow ford (which is quite exciting if you've never done this before) and we continue on a long refreshing downhill back to Bankfoot. It is a scenic route taking us into what feels like a really remote location nestled in the hills. It is, in reality, just a short hop from Perth but is designated a site of special scientific interest due to its interesting variety of rocks and is a delightful place to cycle. (Perhaps best to bring dry socks to change into at the end in case the ford water level is a little bit higher).

A circular meander along quiet country roads via Little Glenshee ending at Taste Perthshire for coffee, cake or lunch.

The roads are all tarmac and generally quiet back roads. Ideal for road bikes and hybrid bikes. Any bike will manage this terrain. Ebikers welcome.

The café stop is at the end of the ride. We will stop as needed on the ride for participants to have a drink or snack.

Helmets are advisable. Please bring a spare inner tube, waterproof and a drink/snack for yourself. Bikes should be in good roadworthy condition with tyres pumped up.

We never leave anyone behind
