Breeze to Hosta

Hello! My name is Jo, I love most types of cycling and getting out in the fresh air!

This ride is intended to build confidence, and have a nice steady social ride (around 8mph).

We will meet at 9:30am at The Deeside Leisure Centre entrance for some bike safety checks. We will then head toward the Greenway cycle path, the National Cycle Network and along some quiet roads towards Hosta Coffee. This is a really nice route if you are new to cycling on roads and great confidence building route.

We will stop at Hosta Coffee for some refreshments (don't forget to bring cash if having refreshments as Hosta do not take cards payments or contactless).

We will then head along some more quiet roads until we reach the cycle network to cross the Marshes, through the Deeside Industrial Estate and back towards the Deeside Leisure Centre, I anticipate we should return no later than 1:30pm.

Helmet is essential.

Recommended: Spare inner tube, bike pump, tyre levers, cash (if buying refreshments), snack in case hungry during ride, a drink for during the ride, any medication required, suitable clothing (waterproof if raining).
