Breeze to Hartley Wintney via Farley Hill

Leaving the FBC, we will head out towards Farley Hill, passing near Swallowfield and the Bramshill Plantation before taking the country lanes towards Hartley Wintney. The return route will climb back up towards the Plantation but we will remain on road, crossing the ford at Eversley via the footbridge and then ride back to the FBC. This route will take in some busier roads as well as country lanes, with a few hills along the way to ensure a good work out! Aiming for an average pace of 10/11mph, the ride is marked as challenging because of the distance and the cheeky inclines on the way! However, this is a group ride and no-one will be left behind. Please do wear a few layers (wind/waterproof) given the recent weather and bring with you a drink, bike lock, some money for the cafe stop and a spare inner tube for your bike. Please also take the time to check your bike before leaving, in particular sufficient air in your tyres, both brakes working and the chain well lubed. Hope to see you :)
