Breeze to Hartley Wintney from Finchampstead

This will be a socially distanced ride, open to anyone to join, covering a 21 mile route, from the FBC centre, Finchampstead to Hartley Wintney. The route will mainly be on roads and country lanes with an off-road section across Bramshill Forest on the way out and a short detour to the pretty Dipley Mill. There are a couple of hills but we will not leave anyone behind and where there is an up, there is also a down! After 10 miles, we will stop for a coffee break in Hartley Wintney where we can sit outside. Suitably refreshed, we will head back on road via Phoenix Green and Bramshill. Please bring a contactless card for drink payment and a mask for going inside the café to order drinks. We expect participants to take responsibility for ensuring they only attend if they feel well. In order to reduce mechanical problems along the way please check your bike is in good working order and conduct a pre ride safety check on your bike. The wearing of a cycle helmet is compulsory. Please bring with you: a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump (and a bike lock if you have one) – also a bottle of water, face mask and money/card for the café stop.
