Breeze to Glapwell

Start at Hardstoff Road 5 Pits Trail car park, plenty of free parking, but no toilets. Ride on a compact trail to Teversal - then pick up a quiet country lane to Glapwell Garden Centre for coffee/cake. After refreshments we cycle back to Pilsley through the grounds of the majestic Hardwick Hall, an undulating 14 miles on either trail or very quiet country lanes.

A nice route, mainly on trail or quiet country lanes, a few hills - but you are welcome to go at your own pace. We will regroup at the top of any hill.

Lots of trail riding - it's not technical, but mountain bike or hybrid with off road tyres would be most suitable.

We plan to stop at the tea rooms at Glapwell Garden centre.

Helmets advisable - please also try to carry a spare inner tube, don't worry though of you are not able to fix a flat tyre.
