This is a really pretty ride, passing Jodrell Bank Observatory and stopping at Gawsworth Hall for a well deserved coffee, tea and cake! There are a few inclines along the way, which is why i'm posting this as a challenging ride, but we're not in a rush and will take it at the pace that's comfortable for everyone, so don't let that put you off! On the whole, it's a reasonably flat ride and is long enough to feel as though you've had a good workout!

The route is almost entirely on quiet country lanes. There are a few places where we will have to ride for a short time on busier roads, or cross over them.

We'll be stopping at The Orchard Tea Rooms at Gawsworth Hall, which is a Grade I listed country house in the village of Gawsworth, near Macclesfield.

Please bring money for any refreshments you may wish to buy. A spare inner tube is advisable and helmets are a requirement on my rides.

First-timers welcome!
