Breeze to Farleigh Hospice Open Garden

We will be combining cycling with visits to this year’s Open Gardens in aid of Farleigh Hospice. There is a £5 charge for the event so I suggest bringing cash for entry and any refreshments. Also bring a packed lunch for a picnic. This year we are heading to Springfield, a suburb north of Chelmsford. Gardens vary from small and secluded to mid-sized and modern, and all will be showcasing summer blooms.

Starting from Willows Green we will cycle on the country lanes and cycle paths to Springfield where we can pick up programmes and wristbands at The Boswell School. After visiting as many gardens as we are able we will head back potentially via a different route.

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube.
