An easygoing ride to Cody Dock starting in Greenwich.
We will cycle through the quiet side streets as far as the O2 and catch the free bike bus across the river. From there it is a short ride to Cody Dock, a quirky community of ecology based units. There is a kiosk café, some decent toilets and shaded outside seating. We will make a short detour along Bow Creek before returning much the same route to the bike bus. Once back south of the river we'll cycle along the Thames path back to Greenwich .
If the weather is inclement we may go to the Thames barrier park instead where there is indoor seating.
Mileage calculated from/to Greenwich. The distance between Cator park and the start of the ride is about 5 miles and takes approximately 40 minutes to cycle.
