This route takes us along the Sankey Valley Canal and is all off road. The route is very picturesque and some have seen deer along the route in the past.

The pathways are mostly gravel with some tarmac surfaces. It can be muddy in places, this is weather dependant. The route follows the Sankey Canal on wide pathways giving lots of space to ride safely.

We stop at a cafe along the route to enable us to refresh and catch up. There is lots of opportunities to take pictures along the way for the keen photographers amongst us.

Although this is an off road route, it is advisable to wear a helmet as we still have low branches to contend with. Please also bring money for any refreshments you may wish to purchase. Please also ensure your bike is in good working order and bring a spare inner tube and any specialist tools you may need for your bike. At this time of year you will need to bring waterproofs and also a drink to keep you hydrated along the journey,

We especially welcome newbies!
