Breeze to Caerphilly Castle

Starting at Hailey Park (free parking, no toilet facilities), following the Taff Trail along the river to Tongwynlais, where we follow the cycle route to Taffs Well and ride up the old railway track all the way to Caerphilly. Mostly off road, with cycle lanes and paths when on the short stretch of main road. A gently climbing ride going out, rolling downhill all the way home. Coffee stop at the Tourist Information Centre cafe overlooking the castle. Please bring a spare inner tube,if you have one, water & adequate clothing if the weather is awful I will text you to cancel on the day.
