This is a challenging ride and also known as Hove to the Hills but with a different start point. Due to popular demand I am providing this glorious route again for you. We will meet at the Rotunda Cafe in Preston Park and head along the A23 to Pyecombe/Poynings. Then we head West towards Bramber via Edburton Road. Once we get to Bramber we will head towards Coombes and take a stop at Botolphs Church for coffee and cake and farmland views. Back on the bikes we will head towards Shoreham then the power station for a lovely coast along Basin road.

This is a lovely route which is fairly demanding. There are a lot of hills! We will take the A23 cycle path to Poynings then continue along Egburton Road. When we get to Bramber, we will join the Coombes Road and make our way to the powerstation in Shoreham. Then we will come back along the Basin road and cycle path to Brighton Pier. We will then return to Preston Park.

Cycle paths, housing estate roads, back roads.

Coffee and cake at Botolphs Church and if time, a wander around the circa 1150 AD church.

Helmets, spare innertube, relevant tools, snacks for the journey, drink, appropriate clothing for the weather.
