A local classic Breeze ride. What I would describe as an urban trail ride. So a lot of varied terrain, but nothing too demanding. It quite a flat route. There is a climb up to Haigh Hall
We will be on a variety of surfaces. Bike lanes, quiet roads, canal tow path and traffic free roads. Suitable for hybrid, gravel or mountain bikes. There will be some busier roads on our return to Middlebrook.
We will pass through the lovely Borsdane Wood, onto Hindley and to Amberswood. We will then get onto the canal where we will stop for a break and something to eat. Haigh Hall has various cafes in the courtyard to choose from. We may sit outside, weather dependent.
No helmet = no ride. Please bring a bike lock and some money for the pit stop at Haigh Hall.
