From Riverside walk we will be going out on the Birgham raod for approximatley 2.5 miles we will stop on the junction on the left - i think its signed EastMills? we will then ride back to Kelso - this is to warm our legs up, we will go left at the roundabout and up onto the cycleway, down the path and then UP Woodend, turning left to WIndwalls and UP. Dont worry you can stop, get your breath, have a drink - walk if you need to, this is our hill climb to use our gears. We will then turn right back along Easter Softlaw and take the unsigned left to above the Proctor Smiddy Junction, Cross over and follow road to the Morebattle road and turn right back to kelso, Enjoy the down.
