Breeze the Big Track

Starting at the Ferry Inn in Wilford the ride will follow the Big Track around the river which runs between Trent Bridge and Beeston Marina along the River Trent and the Canal. The route connects lots of places around the city and you will be able to see how you can cycle around the City without going onto the roads. At the end of the ride there is also an opportunity to have a sociable drink in the Ferry Pub. This ride is suitable for all bike types but some parts of the ride will be on rough track so please bear this in mind. The ride is aimed at beginners or those returning to cycling, who want a sociable ride or to build confidence before tackling more challenging rides. The ride is approximately 10 miles. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential.
