Starting with a short hop from the new Bell Street Hub down to the Waterfront, this route follows NCN1 on a mostly traffic free ride along the coast to Arbroath.

Join us as we take on the Angus Cycling Festival - Coast Challenge 2026! Starting at Bell Street Hub in Dundee and finishing at Angus Cycle Hub in Arbroath, then either cycle back to Dundee, or you could choose to make your own way back - both Ember buses and Scotrail take bike bookings.

This route is mostly traffic free, with short on road sections from Bell Street to the Waterfront, through City Quay, and around Westhaven/Easthaven

We’ll be stopping to collect a stamp at each of the 8 stations to complete the Coast Challenge and maybe even win mini bike prizes and a finisher’s medal

Bring a drink and snacks for the ride, though there will be water stations along the way.
