Breeze Tales of the riverbank - & canal path and water parks

Welcome to Breeze bike rides for ladies. Its a good way to get fit after the festive period. If you haven't been on a Breeze ride before you will find that we are a friendly bunch. We enjoy making new friends and chatting whilst we are cycling and when over a coffee and cake. This almost totally off road route will take us along various waterways with plenty of wild life to spot. We will start on the Bridgewater canal and then on to the river Mersey. After a short way we will follow Chorlton Brook through the woods back to the Mersey. We will then come to Chorlton Water park which has many water fowl on it. Then its back on to the river Mersey. A short ride through Kenworthy woods will bring us back to the Mersey near Northenden. Our return route will bring us back along the same route but via Sale Water Park where we will stop for a coffee at the Mersey Valley Visitor centre. Your bike will need to be in good working order. A spare inner tube is always useful to bring with you. Please wear suitable clothing and a helmet is advisable.
