Breeze Sunday Brunch

Breeze Sunday Brunch Starting from the Angel Coffee House in Lincoln City Centre (which won't be open when we set off), the Breeze Sunday Brunch ride will be a steady ride of about 30 miles on a mix of roads, paths and cycle tracks, with some off road paths that are still suitable for most road bikes. The route heads south from Lincoln, out to Waddington via Station Road / Waddington Hill, and continues along the Roman “Ermine Street” to Temple Bruer where it arrives at the Knights Templar site (more here: http://www.lincsheritage.org/promotion/historic_sites/site.php?key=temple_bruer) After a stop to look at the site, we’ll head to Navenby and stop again, this time for food, so please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments. When we leave Navenby, our route will take us back down hill, where we’ll return to Lincoln via Broughton Road and Brant Road. The start time is the time that we’ll leave, so try and be a few minutes early, especially if it is your first time on the ride. It's a good idea to bring some water and snacks, especially if it's warm, as well as a puncture repair kit/spare inner tube for your bike. It’s also worth checking the local weather forecast as we will be out for a few hours, and it will help you to choose your outfit accordingly! Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please ensure a mobile number is provided in case the ride is cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
