This is a slightly more challenging ride of around 34 miles to The Rose buds in Shefford. Stevenage Railway Station, Stevenage, Hertfordshire SG1 1HF.
The pace will be steady no one gets left behind. There are a few hills and we will wait at the top to enable everyone to ride at their own pace.
We will be taking the cycle route out from Stevenage and over to Great Wymondley, The Green Man and then to St Michaels Mount and into Hitchin. We will then follow the route out to Ickleford, Holwell and Pirton before turning towards Shillington, and then going out to Campton and on to Shefford where we will stop at Rose Buds Cafe for refreshments.
The return route is shorter via Clifton, Henlow, Arlesey and Letchworth back to Stevenage.
Helmet, spare inner tube and pump to suit valve type, water, suitable clothing for weather conditions and card/cash for refreshments.
